“The School of New Ideas” is a personalised support service for young autistic individuals. We found many of them are more likely to drop out of university, and only 22% of autistic individuals are in full-time employment. The service offers a safe non-judgemental learning environment aiming to equip them with the confidence to navigate the transitions into adulthood and aspire to live impactful lives in a diverse society.

“I am” is a packaged programme aligned with a pilot led by our collaborator, Catch22 to avoid people on probation (POP) facing the risk of being recalled and getting into custody again due to non-compliance with licence conditions unrelated to the increased risk of reoffending. It delivers a guidance leaflet for helping navigator mentors from Catch22 well-facilitate the programme that encourages POP to be aware of and express themselves for their stable emotional conditions and better relationships with others.

Doctor in Distress is a charity that helps medical professionals suffering from mental health issues. Its core members have struggled with spreading its presence to the world to achieve more fundraising. In this project, we broke down the problem into micro and macro levels and proposed a solution with transitioning stages into the long-term vision.

It aims to help approximately 90% of 9 million people in London who experience loneliness by matching those with similar interests and providing toolkits and recommendations for ice-breaker activities and artful noticing experiences of nature.

Persons with disabilities and their families have acted for their independent and vivid life in the postwar era in Japan. Although their effort improved their situation, many people cannot still change their mindsets that persons with disabilities are &lsquo;unfamiliar&rsquo; and &lsquo;unhappy&rsquo;. A civic organisation in Japan, Tanpopo-No-Ye has led Able Art Movement, encouraged people with disabilities to live vividly by using art expression, and created inclusive cultures in their ways. This paper aims at how designers can intervene in the current situation and help to create inclusive cultures in Japan, with examining such activities, other stakeholders&apos; situations and design trends.

The client faced the problem of how to increase the contracts of their business that offers office properties for lease and rental in business centre areas of Tokyo such as the Marunouchi district. To solve the problem, we redesigned their website and added a promotional video and various content to help office seekers not only search for offices conveniently but also know about the attractiveness of their offices.
